found a changelog for club penguin. its a bit vague but its good to narrow in on what i remember

before 2008-11-17, i remember when the dojo was hidden in the mountains and there was nothing in it

i have a memory of playing club penguin (the DDR clone game) while at my uncle's house

which would either have been a thanksgiving dinner or a christmas dinner

i remember it being quite soon after i started playing

it seems pretty accurate

i dont remember anything specific from this list between aug and nov. there's this spy mission being added on 2008-10-09, which i vaguely remember playing but i dont have any memories of seeing a brand new mission release or anything. maybe after the phone place was added and you got the cell phone but not right off the bat. probably took me a while to figure out the spy thing existed

so (for now) i dont think i can do better than this

i bet whats most likely is i heard about club penguin at school

meaning it had to be september or later

i think sept is the best guess i can make
