Here is a collection of animations I made with Flipnote Studio on my Nintendo DSi. Unfortunately, I do not have the original dates I created these, but they would have been made between 2010 and 2013.
There were dozens more animations I made with Flipnote Studio but I was sadly prone to periodically deleting older animations as I made new ones.
"Factory Loop"
The best I can reckon this was made was sometime in the second half of 2012, because I attempted to make a more polished version of a joke animation about a factory that I made over the summer. However, for this version, I never got past the establishing shot.
"Devastation"
Frankly, I have no earthly idea when I made this, nor what inspired me to draw a nuclear bomb being dropped on a house. However, I actually still really like the zoom I did through the fence.
"Angry Birds"
A simple animation recreating the gameplay of Angry Birds. The first time I would have played Angry Birds enough to know what the gameplay looks like was maybe mid-2012, so that's a likely pinpoint for when this was made.
"Perspective"
This was my attempt at a "realistic" perspective animation, where a character stands up from a table and walks to a door. It doesn't look very good... I also have no idea when I made this. likely 2012-2013
"Minecraft Adventure"
I made this animation shortly after the Beta 1.8 update for Minecraft released in September 2011. This animation is quite long, with a runtime of over three minuntes. At the end, I asked the viewer to rate five stars but I never actually uploaded this (or any of my animations) to Flipnote Hatana. I was apparently also planning on making a sequel "Nether episode" but never did.
"Fight"
Stick figures fighting were all the rage in the 2000s and early 2010s. I was directly inspired by a flipnote animation my brother made on his DSi, and tried my best to make my own. I didn't get very far into this one though. Maybe the red-glowing guy wins by just exploding, I don't know. I'm guessing this was made in the first half of 2012.
"Basketball Head Man"
I made this animation with a school friend, sometime in early 2010. I just remember it being one of the very first things I made with the program. I believe the voice over and intro warning were added much later.
"The Cliff"
This is another super early one, also likely from 2010. I seem to remember that I was basically copying an existing animation but I can't recall which one.
"Kitty Cat... Extreme"
Another animation, likely from 2010. This was made with the same friend as Basketball Head Man. For this one, we added on to one of the default animations to include the cat falling off the skateboard, a cliff and through a series of cannon things before splatting on a target.
"Balls"
This is one of the last flipnote animations I ever made. I think it was made in the first half of 2013. The sound effects are simple but effective. Also, keeping track of the motion of all the balls was a challenge but I'm still proud of how this one turned out.
